I'm usually only a couple degrees over ambient temperature after the intercooler. Looking at my old data logs between the old filter location and the new larger filter and new location I don't see any difference in inlet temperatures.

I would've put the filter in the normal position like most people have I just couldn't get it to fit
show us a log at WOT, with the very small amount of air going into the engine at idle/cruise its not unusual for your inlet temps to be that low even with the bad inlet placement, but a WOT pull will show the downside of the filter placement.

This is with the Jannetty upgraded K&N (huge) filter and a K&N outware pre filter. There is room and no boost drop with this. Its got to be cooler from this location........3.12 top pulley 11psi boost.

engine location does not vary from car to car......thats crazy talk

No, it's not crazy talk. Care to explain why my Kooks long tube headers rub against my steering column, but not on other camaros?

Not so sure about that. Other people have had issues with other brands.

Just factor in the correction multiplier to the boost as well, in this case 10 psi for Orange's car which is what he should see at sealevel. Numbers fall in line and are usually within 1% to 2% max, we have tested this in many cars Turbo's, superchargers Etc, with same results. :-) .
Hey Clint, thanks Cody from Wicked HP had your same numbers so I have two reputable shops backing my car but...... "Haters gunna hate!"

Cody had me at just over 650, as far as track times, I really don't want to wreck/break anything, it's too expensive as it is
