camaro police protection

So i work at this place (factory) and i fired this guy for quality . He got mad , then said "I'm going to come back and bust up your car with a bat " infront of me and my boss. So we walked him to the door. later my boss tells me the cops will be here in a few min . I asked why, He said that anytime an employee (or property) is threatened then it is SOP to notify the cops (keeping employees safe is number one, after the newwood shooting just down the street a few years back). So now i have a cop parked right next to my car keeping it safe .

sorry but can't post pics from work, but will post some when i get home.

I fired a guy when I worked construction. Later that next day I came out to my truck and the door was kicked in. So it does happen.

If you live in the same town as the guy or he knows where to find you..he's probably eventually going to mess up your car if he gets a chance..my brother-in-law fired a guy at his store and a week later he came out ot his car to find a heavy key job all the way around it with "Ha-Ha" stratched in....people suck!! Wish I knew how to tell you to prevent it.

Glad your company is proactive & acted to keep your baby safe. But don't let your guard down. He could wait until it is unguarded & come back or come after you instead. Be careful.

Wow, just keep a lookout on the car. Police will not be there everyday!

Guess you should be lucky that he even warned you. He could have just came back and did it.

Time to get a firearm, bat vs. semi automatic. I don't promote violence but i do promote protecting personal property. Just saw a local news case where a homeowner shot and killed a guy breaking into his car. The man with the gun has no charges filed against him, but this is Texas though.

Ha ha, when I read the title of the post, I was thinking this was a post telling how to protect us in our Camaros FROM the police. As in, some way to protect us from speeding tickets.

But yeah, that's definitely cool that your place of business is taking the guy's threat seriously and helping you out. Like other's said, just watch out, the cops won't be there all the time, and the guy may try to get you another time/place. Hope everything works out okay for you.

he's always been a hot head (why he got fired), but he calms quick. I think that he was just saying that in the heat of the moment because he was pissed. but it was nice of the company to provide the security for my baby.
