Will Chevy Warranty Internal Headlight Yellowing/coloring?

I have my front bumper off and notice that there is some discoloration inside my headlight housings. I had a forum member mention that it happens to my year range and was wondering if chevy will warranty this and replace the headlights? Seems kinda odd that this would happen inside the headlight housing?

Are you under the 3/36 warranty, and does the color make it not operate properly?
