Assassin's Creed...The game I've been anticipating more than Halo.

Just some clips of the most current build.

It's set to release on Nov 15. I've already pre-ordered.

That game is really impressive looking I like how the character interacts with the "pedestrians".

Those are the games I like (along w/ Return to Castle Wolfenstein type games). My wife said, "now that is my type of game, right there."

I am looking forward to this game as well. I played Halo 3 (never played 1 or 2) and I just wasn't impressed with it. Of course I'm coming off a 2.5 year WoW addiction so console FPS aren't what I'm used to anymore.

I don't think Halo3 has the same feel to it if you haven't played the first two. There's too much storyline behind it, to jump into the end.

Or were you talking about graphics...gameplay - and I went way overboard?

That does look like a pretty great game. If I played games anymore, and if I had a 360, that would definitely be my kind of game. Looks like a mix of Thief (sneaking, long range combat and theme) and Prince of Persia (climbing and close range combat)

Ubisoft (makers of Prince of Persia) are the producers.

Dragon, I've never owned an Xbox and didn't follow the storyline until getting my 360/Halo 3, and I don't mind it at all. Here's all you need to know. You're a super-engineered soldier named Master Chief. You need to kill aliens and save the world. Shoot the Bad Guys.

I am very impressed with the third one. They brought back pistols and nerfed them so they're not overpowered. The AR is a little more powerful but not an end all weapon. It's a great starting weapon. The hammer is by far the most fun to play with.

I think that most of the maps have the right balance of close quarters and long range/open areas, albeit a few which are very lopsided. The modes have a few ones which aren't fun for a lot of people because they don't know how to play, or they keep getting it with people that like to mess around.

Assassin's Creed on the other hand is going to be a hit even if it's not online. It's Elder Scrolls: Oblivion meets Tenchcu/Metal Gear Solid. The game should be around 15-18 hours to go through the story with no side quests (If you know exactly what to do/where to go) and around 40+ hours if you want the sidequests and all that. I can't wait.

Wow that game looks sweet. The only thing is its in black and white with very few colors. Same thing with Metal Gear solid. When I went to my friends place to play it for the first time I was like what?? where are the colors? I guess you need to sacrifice colors for really good graphics.

hey mindz thaks for the help on H3... but I agree that Assassins creed is gonna be a great game...not better than H3, but I am all about First person shooters, fighting, racing...adventure comes in last. RPG's and MMO's are just a waste of time for me (Ill never have the time to actually sit down and really enjoy them unless I get out the military soon.) 07 and 08 are gonna pe hard on my pockets too. heres a list of what I think is worth waiting for, buying

Assassins creed, time shift, call of duty 4, army of 2, mass effect, virtural fighter 5, ace combat 6, naruto, need for speed pro street, kane and lynch, dark sector, ninja gaiden 2, too human , and soul caliber 4.

but a little off subject, have you seen super smash bros brawl? I think I may buy a Wii just to play it. its got everyone from solid snake, to the guy you played as in punch out, its even got sonic the hedgehog. so i gotta have it

I haven't seen much out there in regards to games I'm waiting for. I'm all about AC, Virtua fighter may prove good, but DoA has always been my favorite along with Tekken. Ace combat was boring after the second one on PSx. Ninja Gaiden looks fantastic but it's just another devil may cry. I might get in on the new NFS but PGR is more my type of game as it has more realistic physics.

I love ninja gadien, its true to its roots, devil may cry is just fun to play. if you want a real challenge ninja gaiden is where its at. with ninja gaiden black on its hardest difficulty they estimated less than 1000 people aroubd the world would beat it. i agree about the nfs though all i usually get is forza and pgr, but the new trailer looks damn good. so your a doa fan hunh? ill have to see how good you are? let me know when ya ginna be
online so i can spank that ass in doa 4.

oh yeah ace combat is more an aquired taste

I haven't owned a DoA ever. Just used to play when I was working for EA. A few friends of mine would whoop my ass every chance they got. I started learning a few moves but was never great. I was better at Tekken, but like DoA better. Thinking about picking up DoA 4 or ultimate though. =)
