what has gone wrong with your camaro?

ideally i'm interested in people that have had their cars for approximately 2 years or so. i'm just curious about a few things. i owned an ls1 and it had a lot of things i did not like about it, particularly it rattled to high hell. just curious if after 2 years things are starting to deteriorate abnormally, i.e. rattles, leather, seats, paint, clutch, etc.

i am going to be getting an SS, so from a technical perspective any abnormalities with the ls3 i am more interested in than the v6. as far as aesthetics, all camaros are the same, so feel free to share your experience there. how long did you have your car before something started "falling apart?" (not saying anything has fallen apart, just curious if it has is it normal, and when did it happen)

Nothing has fallen apart at 1 year and 9 months. The paint is a weak spot, however.

i have had my car 15 months (13,000 miles), and this is what has been done to my car:

1. NUT from rear suspension stuck inside suspension causing rattling.
2. Break fluid cap had to be replaced under warranty, break fluid was leaking
3. Passenger HeadLight (HID) had smugges all over it, had it replaced under warranty
4. Passenger Side Power Window Motor went. They replaced it under Warranty
5. PDIM was replaced under Warranty, however, now and then, still have issues with PDIM not seeing device plugged in. But GM will not do anything else for me, since there are no updated PDIM modules for 2010 and they will not put the PDIM from 2011 in my car. I will have to do that myself.
6. Heater Core: Had to be replaced, that included removing the WINDSHIELD (they put same windshield back on my car) and DASHBOARD. They also replaced the entire console that controls the heat/a/c, becuase the lens that covers the radio got covered with anti-freeze.

Things that I am going to need to do this year:
1. New Rear Tires. I have never taken my car to the track and I don't race it. So, it's time for $800+ in rear tires.
2. Sunroof makes a weird noise opening. Also, it rattles when opened all the way and hit a bump.

Only GM problem I've had with the Camaro, is the power steering pump has been replaced 2 times (under warranty)

I know exactly what your problem is...your Camaro came with the "Sacrificial Tire" option. I'm surprised they lasted a year, so consider yourself lucky!! The next set should last a little longer since you'll actually have to fork out the cold, hard cash for 'em!!

Had it 18 months and 29k+miles. Only problem I have had is on of my lights shakes and GM cannot replicate the problem the 3 times I brought it in, and now I have halos so I know they wont touch it now. So i'm just gonna install some Xenon blubs and have my shop take a look at it.
