Gathering of Warbirds May 22-23, 2010
This weekend is the 1st. Annual Return of the Gathering of Warbirds, in Madera.
Here are a couple of links...does anybody think they're going? http://www.maderaairshow.com/ check out this link to the West Coast A-10 Demo Team http://www.maderaairshow.com/A10.aspx This used to really be a great airshow. It will be something if they can resurrect it to even a little bit like how it used to be!!! :flag2:

I would have liked to have gone, but Saturday was NOT a good day, and I had to take my sister to the airport on Sunday at noon. Soooo, I missed it. :( Were the A-10's worth it like I thought they would be?!
And yeah, Ryan, I ALWAYS wanted to be a pilot too!!! However, I kind of think you've got to see and do a few things that would make some pilots nervous! I am glad to hear that it was a great show overall!

ya the A-10 was pretty cool did some shit hot manuvers. the super hornet was just as cool. I myself love the sound of the old piston engine planes, allison powered p-40's, merlin powered p-51's ect ect. the liberators in formation was also nice. trust me ed even in my experience fighters pilots had the ultimate rush.
