Has anyone installed subs in their vert?
Just wondering if someone makes a box for a vert that is out of the way and doesn't need to be removed when putting the top down?

Yes I installed two DC audio subwoofers in my trunk. Two 12 inch subs powered by a Rockford 2500 watt amp. I made the boxes to fit under the top.
Also that's my meth injection system. |

I've been on this forum a couple of months now... I still don't know what a "vert" is. Help me out.

I have the stealth box from Sub Th*mp (not allowed to use full name any longer in this forum). It's form fitted for the drivers side and doesn't take up much space. Holds a 10" sub. It came with the gray felt material to match the OEM trunk material.

I just looked on Subth**ps website and they make a plate to change and upgrade the factory sub to a aftermarket. I might try that first.

Get the sealed box. Your sub won't sound as good if you use the space for the old one. I took out the old sub and replaced it with 2 4x6 speakers. I disabled the stock little 3 inch speakers in the sides. Very clean sounding now.

I have the JL Audio stealth box with 2 10s powered by a 500.1. Sounds great even with the top down.
