But it contributes to a bigger splosion.
In a nitrous failure, often the intake pools up with tons of fuel and nitrous. Then boom, intake blows up. Now you've got fuel everywhere, from the carbs, lines still pouring out... and if the nitrous is stuck on - tons of nitrous gas under the hood. Even if the master cutoff is off, the fuel can leak down onto the headers.... then your second and even bigger explosion. You never want to get near a nitrous or nitro car that is having a problem. They can be bombs. |
