my `73 needs tranny rebuild... recommendations?
hey guys, went to go take out the 73 for a spin now that i've got tags for it again.
found a giant puddle of tranny fluid under the car, and had it taken in. tranny's about done. i'm looking for some recommendations for a good shop to take it to, or if there's any one of you out there who have the tools and want to make some quick cash rebuilding the tranny for me. any help is appreciated, i wanna get my other baby back on the road! |

Find out why it's leaking pan,dip stick, etc. then check your fluid don't drive it
you can burn the tranny maybe it could be your gasket on your pan That's normal on the older camaros Good luck |

my full-race th350 cost me $695. It has a manual valve body and internals that can handle 700hp. A good rebuild shouldn't cost you over 600 unless the shop is pulling the tranny themselves and re-installing it.
