What are the best makers of...
Garage lifts? I want to install one so that I can put my Camaro up and drive my DD under it.

Most of any dealers use Rotary. I don't know if they make the kind of lift you're looking for, but when I have used them they're really nice. Auto locks, quiet, and pretty fast to raise cars up.

You are looking for a four post lift, you can drive on it and raise one car to park another under it.
I would have to say Mohawk is tops, both in saftey and quality and made in the USA. Next would come Rotory, then Bendpack. There is a lot of price difference between them, as with most things in life you get what you pay for. Weight it out and choose what works best for you.
