You got one May 6th...

Call the dealer and they'll give it to you.

If your dealer entered your order into GMworkbench on 5/6, you should have a order number. Let's say he waited until 5/22 to enter your order, you should have a order number. Ask him for your GMworkbench number, if he has no number, you have no order number in the system yet!

The only way that you do not have an order number is if your dealer has not entered your order into GM workbench

Ask for a printout of the GM workbench, it should have a order number on it. He probably doesn't realize you want the actual workbench order number. (Since the number is useless unless you have access to workbench.) (I know, I know, the 800 number... but from what I hear thats pretty useless too.)

if your dealer did indeed submit the order you should have a order number instantly. Its actually 6 letter combo from what most of them look like. A lot of them look like NJKVCN something like that

May 6th is when you should have received your order number and I'm looking at a calendar, May 22nd was a Friday, I'm willing to bet the farm that is not the day your "order" was accepted. All the orders I place get pulled out of my order bank on Tuesdays.

Possibly try talking to someone else at the dealership that might know more, if they don't tell you enough to paint a clear picture I'd suggest looking for a more knowledgeable/truthful dealer.

ok so i emailed him asking for teh gm workbench number. before i asked for the "N" number or order number. he replied "Rob,
Your workbench number is NKGGCH and your order code is 3000. I just checked and there is no projected build date. I have seen codes change rapidly in a short period, so don't get worried.
David"
thanks for the help guys

nope thats all you can do is have that number. Your dealer can input that and get your code status code. If your at 3000 production control has accepted it but its not yet ready for production.
