Ricer-ish !!, How dare you (LOL). The Camaro is about as far removed from a stupid ricemobile as you can get. Cant wait to order my 2SS/RS in summit white. Summit white can now be seen on the road or at a dealer on all 2010 Chev/GMC trucks- Its pure white, much whiter than my current Impala.

I was just on Cars.com and this dealership called Sport Chevrolet claims to have a White one there. It says Exterior Color: White

Model changeover of the Impala? I ask because numerous threads note that Camaro production is not stopping for the normal July 4 break....correct?

Have been thinking, if my ABM 2SS is not built by June 15, I might switch to white (and of course have the RS option dropped by the computer). My 2001 Camaro was white, but my 1970 Camaro was blue, current car is also white. Daughter wants white, ABM still not jetstream blue like Vette, might have to change, or go to Tom Henry for jetstream blue $$$$$

This thread started with an inquiry on when Summit White would start in production and demonstrated that the initial author had performed NO research on this site or any other to determine the answer to his/her question. My initial response remains the same - Summit White SHOULD go "live" around mid-June to allow for orders to be pulled and be in line for production as the Oshawa plant resumes production around July 13 after the one-week shutdown for model changeover on models other than the Camaro.

It has been widely discussed and disclosed that the introduction of Summit White is fully dependent on the model changeover from 2009 models to 2010 models on the Impala and the switch to Summit White on those automobiles. Accordingly, the order system SHOULD go live around mid-June; however, NO DEFINITIVE DATE OR INFORMATION HAS BEEN SHARED WITH ANYONE, including me, that I am aware of.

What is the model change over that they speak of?
