License Plate up Front

I need to put a plate up front but I refuse to drill into the front of my car. I've seen a couple solutions to the issue but was wondering if any of you had tried the Skene plate holder? I checked his site and it says N/A for the Camaro, but all it requires is .5 inch of horizontal surface space, so I don't know why it wouldn't work. I've sent him an email for clarification.
Any thoughts or opinions? I'm also open to suggestions. I'm not sure if this is the proper forum for this thread, but I tried to go with what seemed closest and it was this or ext mods. I dono... Just need a plate holder that isn't going to be ugly and isn't going to f* up the front of my car.

Thanks all.

The problem with that on a Camaro is the Camaros come to a point right there in the front.

Agreed. I thought I'd mount it to one side of the point. Maybe even all the way to the outside edge of the front. I saw one mounted like that somewhere on the interwebs and it didn't look too bad. I just can't bring myself to drill holes in it. :(

Let me see if I can find it somewhere on here. I know it's on this forum, but a user came up with an idea for people that live in states that required front brackets.

There we go. Check out that thread. It's a cheap and easy idea. Just make sure you put something behind the plastic bracket to keep it from rubbing up against your paint too much.

This may be the way to go. I like the stow & go, but it's pretty pricey.

$73? They're pretty proud of those, aren't they???
I'd expect that thing to make my coffee in the morning too, for that money. Looks really nice, but I can't justify that for a bracket to hold a license plate.
Thanks for the link though. Wish it wasn't so steep, I'd go with it for sure.

Summit Racing carries the stow n go for $53 I think... less than the $60+ for the same product. I bought mine there.

CA DOES require front plates, but fortunately, the cops around here don't really enforce it. I have heard of people getting tickets for this, so I know I'm taking a chance, but I'd rather not drill any holes in the car.

I drove my 88 Vette for 11 years with no front plate, and never got written up for it, even during the 2 times I got pulled over for speeding

The show n go requires 3 holes drilled, but you won't see them (bottom of the fascia). And you can have them repaired cheaply if you ever remove it. I'd rather have the plate than pay the eventual ticket.
