Dusty Stripes

I noticed my Cyber Gray Metallic stripes shows the dust faster than the paint on my car. Can i use waterless car wash on them.If so, what wash does everyone use.

why does everyone think ICE is a good product?

anything you can purchase at walmart is not even close to professional quality. save your money and find someone that sells ardex in your area. they typically sell to detailers only but I am sure you can google a rep in the area and most will come to you with a truck and sell you whatever you want. plus they can tell you which products will work best on your application. I have been detailing cars for 22 years and have tried just about everything on the market at one point or another and ardex is the best I have found.

YES you can, I do, BUT before I do anything, I get out my California Duster adn use is correctly, then I will use the waterless car wash I have like a detail spray. been workong like a champ for at least 20 years now. I happen to use DWG's DRI WASH 'n GUARD.

I like Lucas Slick Mist. Easy on and easy off. I have the black stripes and after I used it I noticed the slight metallic in the stripe. Very satisfied.

I don't use the Turtle Wax Ice detail spray, but Shawn (Final Touch Detail here in Houston) said that he hated to admit it, but the Ice Car Wash is one of the best soaps you can buy.

I agree, some people get wrapped up in buying something just because it's "exclusive". Not to say that those products aren't good, but there are less expensive products out there that are equally as awesome.

My black ones do the same thing. I use regular car wash soap and Turtle Wax Ice to finish them off. They ALWAYS show the dust quickly. Just gotta live with it.

The stuff you get at Wal Mart is the same as anywhere else. They don't make a cheap version of wax, oil or anything else just for Wal Mart. They sell at a low price because of their massive buying power.
