Shooting at Virginia Tech
Can't believe I'm the first to post this... didn't see another one so if it's a dupe please merge.
Police Officer Killed, Gunman Believed Dead Quote:
A "routine" traffic stop went bad, the suspect shot the police officer and fled. Apparently he ran to a traffic stop and then killed himself. Sad day. My thoughts, and my heart, go out to that Officer's family.

My thoughts and prayers go out to the Officer's family. I'm thankful that there were not more victims.
That being said, I am confused as to how the assailant managed to get a gun on a gun free campus !?!?!? (tongue in cheek) |

My oldest sister and her husband were enrolled at VT when the first shooting occurred. I found out through her about the second shooting only hours after it happened yesterday. I couldn't be more sympathetic for those at VT.
