New paint job

I bought my Camaro about two months ago. I bought it pre-owned and paid it off in full. The only problem was that I didn;t get the color I really wanted, which was black. I settled for silver because I just wanted it so bad

However, after looking at pictures on here, I decided that I NEED it in black. (I know taking care of black is a pain in the ass, but I'm up for it). The only place near me that has any credibility near me is Maaco. I was looking at their "signature" paint job, which is their best, for about $2100. I don't know anything about paint, so I was just wondering if anyone has had any experience with them. I don't want to rush into anything. Thanks in advance.

Painting an entire car a different color is going to be a pain. Especially a new one. I wouldn't recommend it at all.

You are truly NUTS if you paint a good brand new car with Maaco!!! Period..

But, that being said if you paint and change colors except to pay 8-15k. Trust me I did it.

I'll go buy a gallon of Behr from Home depot and take care of it for ya! I'll only charge $1,500 and it will look better than MAACO.

Seriously, trade or sell your silver and get black.

The cheapest I could imagine it being done is around $7K. That'd be cheap though.
