How to add a spoiler??

Has anyone here added a rear spoiler to a non RS model? If so would you mind sharing with me how expensive it was and how you mounted it? I understand the factory spoiler uses 6 mounting holes. If so, is there a template available to use to drill the holes?

I'm sure there are people on here that are capable of mounting a wing on their own ..

But I would personally take it to a body shop and have a pro do it.

I installed the HAVOC Dovetail. They provided the paper template which is the same as the GM one. Could have done it by eye and placing markers on the mounting bolts.

Wow...

Thanks for all the feedback...and so quick too. I really apprecitate it. The dealer we are buyin from says $650.00 to install the factory spoiler or $450.00 to install an aftermarket that looks jsut like the factory one.

Any opinioins on these preces. Too high?? Good deal??

Any chance that someone has a IOM spoiler they took off a car and want to sell it?

Please tell us those prices include the actual cost of the spoiler?

Install shouldn't take more than 1hr labor at a shop. $100 - 125 tops for the install.

You can buy a factory type spoiler for the Camaro on Ebay and its painted to match for $110 and that includes FREE SHIPPING!!! Top of the line quality and looks exactly like the factory OEM spoiler. And did I mention, it comes with a lifetime warrenty!!

That sounds great. I will go check that out. If it is as advertised I will definately buy one. Have you seen one in person?
