CherryBomb Exhaust

So I'm very very close to buying the CherryBomb catback for my Camaro. I really like the ATAK too, but I can't seem to justify the price difference. Another thing is that I saw on one of the threads that the CherryBomb is supposed to add like 12hp, but I can't find any numbers on the ATAK. I know that the stock exhaust is supposed to be really efficient, but does anyone know the numbers put out by the Borla? Also, if anyone has heard both (I think both are pretty new) in person that would be a big help. I've watched the YouTube's for both and they both sound pretty mean and I like the ATAK slightly better, but again I can't justify the price difference based on the videos I have seen. Any input would be really appreciated!

Some are going to tell you that a bit of the price difference is the type of metal used. The Cherry Bomb is made from aluminum I believe and the ATAK will be made from Stainless....probably T-304 (the more expensive).

IMO....it's not enough to make up the difference in price though. I think I heard the ATAK is like $1,200 and you can get the Cherry Bomb for $400. There's a lot of other upgrades that can be done for that difference.

Also, just my opinion, but I don't like the sound of the ATAK that much based on the videos....haven't heard one in person and that might change my mind. Still not enough for me to pay the difference.

Personally I would do Cherry Bomb or Magnaflow Comp (#16580).....but it's your decision and everyone has their own preference.

The Cherry Bomb is made from ALUMINIZED STEEL (aluminum coating over steel). It is NOT aluminum.
