Absolutely not.......I'd rather push my Camaro than buy a Ford!!!

Lmao.. I'm sure everybody knows your sad story and don't care. I think the OP was asking camaro owners. We know your love for mustangs so stick to them. I would pick a 13 or 14 over these. They're having a identity crisis!

They remind me of the Honda accord coupe from the side and I like everything about the accord coupe. Just not as a mustang .

I am not brand loyal so long as its American and have owned multiple Mustang's and Camaro's. I might consider selling my 5th gen to buy a new Stang GT depending on how much it ends up weighing and costing. One thing is for sure, I would never get rid of my SS for a V6 or I4 Mustang. It would have to be a GT model and I wouldn't be surprised if that model starts out at 40k.

The GT is not starting anywhere near 40,000 dollars.

The Stang had all the right styling.

The '15 looks like a throwback to the '93.

Nope. I'm perfectly happy with my Camaro. I still view the Mustangs as a girls car, that's mostly who I see drive them. And from what I have seen of the new pics, doesn't look attractive to me at all.

I Love my 1LE. It's so old school now. But blast me if you must for being excited about the new Mustang. Flame suit ON!

I am excited not only about the Mustang, but also what this means for the new Camaro.

Ford was really smart. They made a big investment in the new Mustang to take it global. Also the Ecoboost 4 is a key addition. Expect this in the next Camaro too. Good gas mileage, light weight, and I am sure the Eco 4 has a strong bottom end to handle well over 400 HP. Z/28s are probably safe, but stock 1LEs might have to worry about an over-boosted 400+ pound lighter Eco Rustang on a road course.

If you doubt the Mustang is any good don't. Ford has learned from the Camaro and they also have been listening to owners and media criticism just like GM. And I bet they poke around here too. All these Internet forums are a treasure trove of info for them. We all win.

The styling of the new Mustang is very important to appeal to younger buyers. The Boomers who might buy, already own one of the three pony cars. The styling is also important internationally. So we see some Mustang queues, but a much more modern and attractive look. Expect the same from the new Camaro.

As it is I think the Mustang looks hot, modern, and has sort of a wide body look. Nice pic.

I am not ready to trade my 1LE either. In a few years I might. But not until the new Camaro comes out and the two cars can be compared. I might also look at what Dodge is up to by then if they have something similar. If you really are enthusiastic about cars like the Camaro, you owe it to yourself to think out of the box.

For now I can't wait to see the new Mustang GTs at the drag strip. My firends Auto 2013 GT ran 12.4s stock. With 200 pounds less and more HP 11 second ETs stock should be doable. I will need a cam to keep up. Most stock SSes, 1LEs included, cannot run under 13 seconds. At least we will looking at very pretty Mustang taillights.

Any info from Ford on that? My guess would be $36K. If the new Mustang base interior looks good, a base model might be all you need. But get the performance options if there are any.

Just curious, what are the reasons for the Mustang hate? Is it purely styling? The owners are exactly like us.

Confession: I have owned both.
