1st oil change=sluggish response
So I got took my car in yesterday for its first oil change at 5500 miles to the dealer after I picked it up I didn't notice because I was tired and I was just trying to get home and sleep but today I realized my car was really sluggish I thought it was in my head but now I know it's not usually the pickup is decent in 6th gear at 80 mph but today I wasn't going anywhere. I floored it and still nothing any ideas why? I checked all the plugs to make sure they didn't disconnect anything, no advisories on, and I heard a ticking sound when getting on the on ramp.

Did you check the oil level after it was changed? Did the dealer add regular gas to the tank instead of high test? Did you do the #5 and #20 fuse pull?
I'm assuming that you have a V8 Camaro. If not, disregard everything except for the oil level. |

Call the dealer and ask if your pcm was re programmed. My 14 has a recall for me to bring it in. Says emissions related. I wont bring it in its getting 24-26 in the city and as high as 38 on the highway. Has alot of condensation in exhaust.

Might want to think twice about not taking it in if you are seeing abnormally low fuel usage. The program might be set too lean and running too lean is also bad for your engine. It will also cause the engine to run hotter. I'm all for better fuel mileage but not at the expense of an improperly tuned engine. Could likely shorten the life of your engine. Also if you do not have this recall performed since it's related to the engine programming it may be possible for them to deny you warranty work on the drivetrain (not sure about that but I'm thinking it could be a possibility since they did notify you of the recall notice).
