Tricksta,

The 2011 Chevrolet Camaro model features an RS appearance package that is available on the LT and SS. It includes HID (High-Intensity Discharge) headlamps with integrated LED "halo" rings, a rear spoiler on LT, specific taillamps and 20-inch wheels with a Midnight Silver painted finish. The "halos" are a very popular option/reason to why consumers consider the RS package.

can you supply me with pictures to define the difference in the RS spoiler as compared to non RS, and Tail lamps as well? looking at buying a Camaro and a guy is swearing to me up and down it is an RS but I doubt it
because of no RS Bade, but it does have a slight spoiler on the back, and it has 20 inch wheels, but no HID's

The spoiler is the same on non RS as the RS. But I think it was an option on the non RS. The 2011 tail lights on the RS are darker than the Non RS. But if it does not have the Halos or HID projectors it is not an RS.

Great to hear you're looking to acquire one! I wouldn't have any pictures to post as that would have to be researched independently. However, if you can provide me with the VIN of the Camaro you're looking to purchase, I'd can research whether that model is indeed equipped with the RS package.

If it doesn't have halos, it's not an RS.

I'm about to do RS headlights on a non-RS car. So I'm pretty sure it's possible to do non-RS on a RS.

Well if you go strictly by an RS badge being absent, mine isn't RS either. They removed the RS badges to make room for the Heritage Grille, and the rear Spoiler I chose. Anyway, I am going to get the RS badges back next year if I can. Good luck with your purchase!

Of course. But I don't think anyone in the history of the universe has removed halos for the standard lights...

If someone DID remove the Halos…they need to be brought out back and ran over a few times while doing burnouts

You can slap a spoiler on, the tail lights are cheep, even replica wheels or someones take offs. But thd headlights are expensive, so unlikely to be added to fake RS it. Another big thing that would be hard to fake, painted roof ditch molding. If unpainted, very likely NOT an RS. Are you sure its a 2LT? Leather seats, HUD?
