ZL1 Onstar

I have a quick question for you guys about OnStar, on my window sticker it shows it comes with 6 months of OnStar with Directions. On Chevy's website it shows that the ZL1 comes standard with 3 years of OnStar With Directions and Connections. So, my question is; what does it really come with?

Same, the turn-by-turn is a joke, it's really just paying for piece of mind, so if that's worth the monthly cost after 6 months only you can decide that.

My SS also came with 6 months, but I am specifically asking about the ZL1. I also never used it much, but that wasn't my point. On Chevy's website it states all other Camaro models come with only 6 months of OnStar, but the ZL1 page says 3 years. On my ZL1 window sticker it says 6 months. So I ask my originally question, does anyone know what length of OnStar service does the ZL1 come with?

I use mine for the hands free calling, because just like Stephen King, I don't believe in cell phones.

Drake this applies to you too! After everything Chevy has put us through (not that I am complaining) I think they at least owe us what they promised. It'd be like saying the car is advertised to have 580 HP but the window sticker says 550. Would you guys just accept that like you're saying we should about OnStar? And before you tell me they're not the same thing, I realize that but I'm trying to make a point.

Will I use OnStar for my navigation? Probably not. But that is my choice. I do use the handsfree calling quite a bit and my wife does too, so that is a feature I could use for years. I'm just trying to figure out what I should expect when I pick up my BEAST!

I'm not sure where you saw this 3 yrs stuff. Everything I've seen on their site shows 6 months.

OnStar® Automatic Crash Response4, standard for the first six months on all Camaro models, means you can be automatically connected to emergency assistance if a crash occurs — whether or not the air bags deploy.

Have upcoming turns and street names displayed on the Driver Information Center or hear directions from the automated voice through OnStar®. Standard for the first six months.

I got it right here off Chevy's ZL1 page on their website:

http://www.chevrolet.com/camaro-zl1-...eatures-specs/

Six features up from the bottom of the page:

OnStar®(3) with three years of service with Directions & Connections® including Turn-by-Turn Navigation
The unmatched lifesaving technology of OnStar to help keep you safe. Standard

Copied from the website as I type this post, so it should be current.

I'm not really the bitching type, but I will ask nicely and show them the website when it's time to finalize the deal. In all honesty, my salesman has been great and I'm sure it won't be an issue when it comes time to discuss this point.

It's a mistake. The window stiCker trumps a typo on a website. My Tahoe came with 6 months and my cadillac with 1 year. No way they're throwing in 3 full years on a Chevy. Sorry. And please don't make a federal case over it so some shmo loses their job.
