Im just glad that the first run down the 1/4 wasn't done at Mile High at 5pm in July with a Auto! Actually maybe I do, I think people would be trading them in and I could get one earlier for a steal!

give it a few months/years and you'll see these start showing up on the lots because people couldn't make the payments or fell on harder times. sad to say but I think some will end up on lots sooner then later.

what people are doing is comparing the best GT500 times to an avg day for this car. which shouldn't be done. more passes on different tracks and in different conditions will give a better view of what this car is capable of.

also I think people are confusing the LPE car with the HPE. one manual (LPE) and one auto (HPE). I can see some frustration just in that. oh well. I'm done arguing that this car can see 10's with the mods you have done. I know it's possible.
Hey man, that was not a dig at you, I guess I was trying to say that differing conditions affect things greatly, a lot of people do not understand this. My bad, but on a given daygiven at a given it is what it is.

Graham.

Graham,

Do you recall what the car crossed the line at rpm wise and I suspect in 4th gear?

Idk what it is on LS engines but my car gained 10rwhp for every degree of advanced timing. If its near the same then 8* of extra timing is huge!! Just writing my thoughts.

knock limited

Yes it is huge, depends on the timing response, good old spark looop. The engine will increase in power, with ignition advance, until it plateaus and then loses, assuming it is not knock limited.
