First and foremost, I would once again like to thank overhaulengines for this great idea. Like most of you, I could not see myself cutting into my car. So, for the last month, I have been working with a company to create something that would work for this mod. I finished installing yesterday and absolutely love what I have so far. There are some modifications that I need to make regarding the wiring. I should have this all figured out within the next couple of weeks. I am hoping to put together some packages if anyone is interested in doing this themselves. I am guessing the price to be somewhere in the neighborhhod of $175 give or take a few dollars. I will know more as time goes by. The color I used is a blue-green to match the interior lighting, but hope to have other colors availabale soon. Please let me know what you think and if you would be interested in purchasing. Thanks.

Interested as well in the Jocoo solution in red.
But I would get Camaro SS/RS or a different sill plate instead of Chevrolet. Its more "show" orientated.

Because of all the recent interest and private messages I figured I would update this post. I have made little attempt to play with or modify this mod in the past months. I cannot post a DIY because the materials I used are somewhat of a prototype and are not really available to the general public. Sorry for the disappointment. I will up update again when I have more news.

How do you get the light to shine through without drilling into the car? I don't understand why a DIY can be made since a company already is making these. Maybe a flat led under the sill itself. Anyone have any ideas?

Maybe light tape that's what I would use.
