2014 ZL1 diffuser fitment on a 2014 2SS? Straight swap?

Hi gents,

Just a quick question. Is the 2014 ZL1 diffuser (part number 22829478) a straight swap to a stock 2014 2SS one? Are the nuts and bolts from the stock diffuser enough to fit the ZL1 one or do I need additional items as well? Anybody here done this change? Thank in advance!

Stan

Yes it is a direct swap, you will reuse all the bolts you pull off

I've installed mine, it is a direct swap, but two bolts on each side next to each tire wont fit, not sure if they are used for the rear tire deflectors

I believe the ZL1 has a different design in the center, but hoping for pics to confirm.

The middle part is different and where the exhaust tips are, is a bit different. I would love to see one on too.

Small difference in the middle but the real difference is that the zl1 diffuser bow out on the sides to meet the splash rock guards behind the rear wheels.

Here is a picture of the difference. Zl1 has 2 hols in the middle while the regular npp has 3 holes. And the zl1 diffuser comes out by the side to meet the splash guard while the regular npp follows the body line.

Ya the middle is a little different. It's a direct swap. As fas as the side wrapping around that isn't a huge difference either. But adds some. Here is mine installed.

Thank you
