Fort Hood, Texas = Camaro Central

About to enter my second week of my 2-week active duty time here at Fort Hood.

I am beyond shocked (and pleased, naturally) at the sheer volume of 5th Gen Camaros here. All colors...all iterations...all here!

Hey, Chevrolet - stop goofing around with silly commercials and just put up a camera and a microphone here at Fort Hood! Everyday heroes are driving your cars in spades.

We had a crew from Ft Hood come down and visit one of our meets in Houston earlier this month. We'll all have to get together sometime on a cruise...

Well, link up with them - however, I'll be heading back to the SF Bay Area this coming weekend. It's not home to me, but it's where my mortgage and (civilian) job are.

Y'all can have your heat, crickets, and humidity, brother.

they're a lot of camaros running around here. I love it. I always wave or flash my lights and most respond back . I haven't seen any ZL1s around here yet but I just got back from Afghanistan. (hope to see some soon)

Come to Ft. Huachuca. Camaros are starting to out number the Mustangs.

Not too many at Fort Sam, but I am holding up my end of the bargain.

I can see how an economically priced, badass, sporty car would appeal to most military guys.

Sports cars are attracted to military bases as much as barber shops and dry cleaning places. Bunch of people with few expenses getting decent paychecks usually tends to add to stuff like that.
