from what i remember, the stock exhaust on the ss and v6 was 2.5 inch.

I used a magnaflow 15090 on my v6. Far too loud and obnoxious, later added 4 inch resonators. It was a direct bolton for the magnaflow kit though.

If its an stock exhaust youre planning to add...not sure why youd take off one restrictive exhaust just to put on another.

If the converters are bad, it would seem more wise just to find someone selling their downpipes with converters included from a v6. Most who upgrade to high flow cats or straight pipes sell e. For 60-100$
