Looks good it's honestly easier to just use 3156 bulbs saves you the cutting and chances of burning out your bulbs

yeah easier, but you won't have to buy anything in this case.

If you burn out your bulb (which shouldn't happen), then might as well buy a 3156

yeah, so how bright is it on a bright day? i'd be worried about "improper or altered equipment" tickets along with some ass clown claiming they couldn't see the brake lights come on. looks sweet at night...but daylight, it seems insufficient. looks good though

Well in a bright day, your parking lights wouldn't normally be on, so it's the same situation before and after Go take a look at your rear lamps during the day, nothing should be on.

As for braking, you have to realize the braking is EXACTLY the same as before. Braking is high intensity light, and nothing has changed to the high intensity light. It will come on as soon as the brake is hit, with the exact same light output.
