Camaro Production by year.
Well I can't sleep so I decided to poke through my camaro books and compare the camaros production over the years to see how the 2010 held up.
1967 220,906 1968 235,147 1969 243,085 1970 124,901 1971 114,643 1972 68,651 1973 96,752 1974 151,008 1975 145,770 1976 182,959 1977 218,853 1978 272,631 1979 282,582 1980 152,021 1981 126,138 1982 189,735 1983 154,381 1984 261,591 1985 180,018 1986 192,219 1987 137,760 1988 96,275 1989 110,739 1990 35,000 (kinda fuzzy officially only 39 cars were built in 1990 the rest in 89 ) 1991 100,838(excludes 91 models introduced in 90) 1992 70,007 1993 40,224 1994 125,244 1995 122,725 1996 61,362 1997 54,972 1998 49,218 1999 42,098 2000 45,461 2001 29,009 2002 42,098 2010 128,204 Not the strongest it's ever had but when you factor in GM's market share these days and look at the last 14 years of camaro production. I'd say home run is an understatement.

Those are the most up to date I could find for 2010. Anyone else feel free to correct me if they have different numbers.

You also have to realize that we only have one factory building them.

I think production numbers have been doing great since the bad 2002 model year.

yes, but people like to compare to the first gen numbers. Which is impossible since there were two factories building them at the time.

What i don't get is i've seen several production numbers on the Camaro over the years, and various sources show different numbers in particular years.

Good point. Oshawa has been doing a great job. Let's hope sales stay upbeat.
