The et slip wont track 0-60mph...

It just gives 60' time.

I will have it back to the track next friday night. I will try the other shift options and maybe I can fab up a CAI to test with if I have time.

As far as breaking the engine in.... I run them all hard. As a piston ring engineer I know the engine has to be loaded to properly seat a ring. Cruising the car down the highway will not do this (It will over time). I have already read most of the breakin post on here and there are a few who understand the concept of engine breakin. I would bet most of these guys have a race car as well.

My advice is break it in on how you feel it should be... Its your car and your money.

Not too bad of a 60', maybe you should try rolling into the throttle with the brake applied as the lights drop, then swap feet real quick on the green. Kind of like slippin a clutch. That may give you a bit more off the launch. They say for every tenth off your 60' is good for at least 2 tenths in the quarter.

Are you saying that you don`t have to use the paddle shift if you put it in Manual.....This is a V6 we do not have the SPORT Button...Just DRIVE & MANUAL and in Manual you have to use the Paddle or it won`t shift. Unless I missing something in this thread.

I have the automatic V6 and if you put the shifter in the M position and do not use the paddles, the DIC will show "S" for sports mode. If you use the paddles, the DIC will show you "M1" for the gear you are in.

Bid thunder, I just have one question. As far as racing and racing engines how long do they usually last? I know that alot of guys who race rebuild there engines after races.
