If you are driving easy on the street and go to a track day I would certainly recommend pulling the fuses (or disconnect the battery). It will make for a better track day.

On a ZL1?

Hmmmm............... interesting. In principle it shouldn't because it doesn't have two tables. Or does it?

Yes they did. I am fully prepared to accept that a factory reboot will somehow help an LSA out. But it doesn't make sense. It would have had to have been nannied down with bad fuel or some other type of power reduction mode.

I remember that back then. I was about to blow my lid.

I have run 93 octane from day 1, but what did the dealership put in it on it's first fillup. Looking at the HP Tuners, I believe I was running on the high octane tables. 24 degrees timimg going through the gears. (when no knock was detected). But, I did baby my car the first 1500 miles. So, that's what the car learned. Pulling the fuses allows the computer to re-learn.

I just finished looking at the scan of the run and noticed that I hit 8lbs of boost for the first time. Never seen over 7 pounds before.

Could be that your babying the car for break in would have then slowly climbed to higher torque levels and you expedited that transition by rebooting.

Maybe something that will be good to do for everyone after break in period.

Maybe I could do this to check mine out. I ran full tank of 87 through it last month by mistake and with 5K miles on. Didn't think it was a problem, but I did plan to pull fuses anyway. Just hadn't gotten around to it. Now I'm glad I didn't.

Just want a sure fire way to tell the difference besides butt dyno and I'm not going to run another tank of 87 to test again.

Will this get the same results as a fuse pull?
