I wanted the high wing originally when the car was first announced. I just think the car needs a lot of exterior mods to pull it off. On a stock Camaro it looks out of place.

Here is a photoshop of my original plan for my car back in late 2008, 2 1/2 years ago!

Yes and NO...............You could retain the factory spoiler and mount the HWS (high wing spoiler) to your existing trunk lid.... Not sure how that would look, but someone is going to do it...

I went ahead and got a new trunk lid for the HWS installation.

I will post pics next week of the HWS installed on V1

I hate to say it man, but that looks horrible!! IMO

I agree with you on this.. If you add a GFX kit to the equation, the whole look would be balanced..........

Any pictures of a wing that matches the body color of the car? or at least matches the top color of the car if 2tone?

No offense taken, I had never even heard of a ricer until I started reading these posts last week. I assume you are saying it looks like an import and I guess thats o.k. after 27 years of driving and having owned only Ford and GM cars and trucks. Some like it and some don't, I think it looks great, but to each his own. In future posts, yall can just use the two little blue things barfing on each other (figured that one out) if you don't like it instead of talking about food and trying to confuse me. And this is what mine would look like painted yellow. I still like the black one best, or yellow with black stripes would look good as well.

I like it but I do think there should be ground effects to go along with it. I had a friend with a third gen that had the factory lip spoiler and the factory wing, he notched the lip spoiler so the wing would fit it looked bad ass. so all the haters dont remember the 91-92 wing.

I remember it. I thought it looked stupid on that car too. It's not as bad as the new spoiler but the standard lip spoiler was much better looking.

Looking at it again and from the back it is little too high for me personally(like the look from the side angle) would like to see a shorter/smaller side panel version as another option.

Check out the Red Flash Concept from SEMA. It looks great with the HWS and GFX together.
