window seals
This has probably been covered before but I can't find anything. Does anyone sell some kind of rubber conditioner to keep the window seals from getting hard? I have noticed on my camaro that when I wash it, water sometime appears on the inside of the window by the seals. Its not enough to worry about but I can imagine 5 years from now. The rubber getting all hard and cracked from sitting out in the sun. Then you will have a leak. What's good for the seals? Thanks

Silicon spray on cloth, wipe on rubber seals...that's what I do.

Krytox is the best but it is not cheap. GM recomends it.

I've been using plain old silicone spray does years and it does an amazing job for about 2.50 a can and some elbow grease.

Permatex dielectric grease. It is a silicone grease. You can get a tube of it at any auto parts store or walmart.

Armor All protectant is all you need. That rubber will stay supple forever and NEVER crack. I guarantee it.
