V6 engine idle

Does anyone else have this:
Engine cold start idle high then reduces to slower idle. My other vehicle is a
G6GTP w/ v6 3.6L and it stays at a constant idle even at cold start.
thanks in advance

How is this really a question? Cars have been using high-idle settings since the carb days. I'd be more concerned about your other car *not* high-idleing on a cold start.

3800 V6 seems to start around 1500 RPM's and work it's way down to around 800.
We have a 1.8 L I4 in a Pontiac Vibe that really starts with high revs, especially in the winter, I believe well over 2000 RPMs.
