theGMconnection.com Woodward Dream Cruise Meet

What would you guys think of this:
Jordan and I with our dealership organize a Woodward Dream Cruise meet? Have a Show and shine at our new Chevy store (itll be done by Spring, btw) on the Saturday (August 21, 2010) morning of Dream Cruise Weekend and then everyone cruises over to Woodward in the afternoon?
I know its a ways off, but, organization would take time.
Opinions?

Thanks man! Its extra cool for me cause its my daughter!

If this seems like something people will be itnerested in attending, Jordan and I will get started on planning the event. Ive done some large events like this in the past and I know the planning that needs to take place months in advanced (sponsors, etc, etc).

Everyone, keep posting up in this thread and keep your eyes peeled in the next couple of months for an official announcment

If you're actually planning to "cruise Woodward" during the Woodward Cruise, you might want to consider a Friday-Friday Nite event. Saturday afternoon is gridlock, especially from 8 Mile (Ferndale) to Birmingham...

For those who have never been, but want to, you can only imagine what you'll see...'cause you'll see it all! And then some... 40,000 vehicles, and a 1,000,000+ people is something you'll never forget!

Im open to do a Friday or a Friday night show and shine. I was just trying to think of those that may be travelling from the GTA which is a 4+hr drive to Windsor.

Whatever day (Saturday or Friday) would work best for everyone is when well schedule the show and shine for.

Also, just as an FYI, ive heard that in the GM booth, they will be having the Twin-turbo Camaro from SEMA there (Leno's) as well as a prodcution-ready convertible!
