Glad to here yours is fixed too HP. I'm just hoping that the oil pan gasket fixes mine cause it seems like it could be either problem, yours or Blackkaz04's. Good luck to both of you hope they never leak again.

oil leak

My 2SS was leaking oil from the oil cooler where it meets the engine. Took it to the dealer and they said that if it is not dripping they will not even look at it. With all the rain here in miami the oil has dispersed around the area. Any ideas what to do? I could try to tighten the bolts and then see.
Thanks

Hey guys, I'm new here so I'm hoping that this is the right place for this. I have a 2011 ss the car is bone stock and I think I'm having a problem with my oil cooler. My oil psi gauge is reading any were between 20-30 at idle and up to 60-65 at light I'm mean very light acceleration. Also my oil temperature gauge is reading well over 200 after about 5 miles. I checked the oil it looks clean and is full. The car only has 3,200 miles on it. Other then changing the oil what else could it be? Thanks in advance for any and all help

Mine was leaking bad, so bad I could not drive the car. Dealer replaced the oil cooler under warranty.

I had both a cooler and pan gasket leak at separate times, and both were covered under warranty. All good since.

Turned out to be the pan gasket. They also fixed a coolant leak on the back of the motor, I would smell anti freeze after I shut it off.

I lucked out, I bought it at an Audi dealer and their sister dealership was Flemington Chevrolet. Everything was fixed under the 90 day warranty from the Audi dealer. Still have until May on drivetrain warranty.

I have a 2010 camaro rs....68000 miles on it. Had it towed to dealer today when it started blowing tranny fluid all over ground at front of car. Im assuming the worst, and guessing blown oil cooler....dealer says that ISNT covered under drivetrain warranty....can anyone help.

If it's trans fluid, then it's the trans cooler which is in the radiator (or maybe even one of the lines)....so no, technically not part of the drivetrain and really shouldnt be too expensive to replace.
