Anyone getting one under $60k?
I did some quick calculations and if I were to get an MSRP manual ZL1 with no options it would still come out to $60,100.98 out the door with TT&L and all fees.
Anyone out there getting a no option one and maybe not have as high of taxes as here in TX to be able to walk out of the dealer at under $60K? How low do you think someone can walk out of the door with one? I doubt they will be giving any discounts on them.

Well I am but I live in oregon no tax. So I am at 58k and change. You could get under if the dealer would waive delivery charge. I added exposed carbon, sun roof, microfiber package but I am thinking about ditching the sun roof and microfiber package because it just steering wheel, shit knob, shift boot.
I got on the chevy site and there was some $1000 dollar voucher that it wanted me to download and it would let you select the ZL1 but then my abobe crashed and I can't get it to come back.

You will pay no Tax in LA when you purchase but when you try and register in TX they will insist you to pay the tax first.

Ill have to figure out how to get that included with my loan somehow.. IE, ill have to have to get the credit union to combine it all together in my payments some how. Im sure they know how to do it. My registration is already paid for as I already have my plates for it.. All I have to do is attach my plates to my information... so that would leave just the tax.. so if its $57,300 out the door then my tax it texas would roughly be $4,727.25. I think it will just be easier maybe to pay that in cash... ... Cool. thanks a bunch... ouch...that caps me out at $62,027 But I ordered the stripe package and the wheels.. So I am good.

Gas guzzler tax and a 10+% sales tax here in crook county ensure that nobody that registers their vehicle in Chicago is getting a 2012 under $60k out the door.

My guestimate is a couple dollars under 60K here in Jersey. If I just get the exposed CTF option with the stripes, with destination charge, title/paperwork, and 7% sales tax it comes in just under that threshold.
