new camaro owner in NJ

Hey ya'll. I just got a 2010 ss 6 speed. Been researching like crazy for the parts I want on here. The car has 54k on it. is there any preventative maintenance I should do before I start modding the car? so far it looks like I wanna do a TSP full exhaust (unless I can find equivalent quality for cheaper), CAI intake, MGW shifter (wanna find a ZL1 knob for it though) and then it will be on to suspension. Any help is greatly appreciated and im no stranger to forums so I know how to use the search function for the most part! lol

Welcome to the site and congrats on the new ride. As for maintenance I would just have all the fluids changed out if you don't have records for it. Depending on were you bought you may want to have a local shop take a look just to be on the safe side before you dump money into it. That's not to many miles for a 10 so should be ok. Post up some pics and good luck with all the mods you can find right here.

Preventative maintenance: Call your lawyer and or accountant.
Have them freeze your bank accounts so you cannot go crazy on modding.
It is too late for us, but maybe you can still save yourself.

and I have 2007 NBS 2500HD D-Max that's built up too so freezing my accounts would be useless cause i'll always find a way to make more power.

CONGRATS on the ride, and Welcome to our happy little corner of the net, and to Camaro5. There is a BIG fridge on the back porch with anything you can think of in it...help yourself...of course only take what you can LEGALLY have. Make yourself at home on one of the big fluffy couches, kick your shoes off, put your feet up on one of the tables, yes we are allowed to do that, mom's, wive's, husbands, girlfirends and boyfriends here don't care....and take it easy.

oh...btw....every once in a while a food fight breaks out...so you may not want to wear nice clothes here.

Welcome!!
