69 SS Conv-New Power & Dyno sheet

I sent my engine back to American Speed for some work. While it was there I wanted it tuned on the dyno. I was very surprised and so was Dale who does all the work up there. Originally I was promised 550hp/550tq. With the Pro Touring package and the added torque the combo is great. In 6th gear last night I was doing 1800 rpms@ 60mph. This is the way the 69's should have been built.

CCW wheels in 19/18. They make quality wheels found on many FGT, Vipers & Vettes.

I'm not big on the spoiler personsally, but even with it the car is beautiful. Welcome to the boards and hopefully mine will be as clean as yours is after that many years.

I have been on several Hot Rod Power Tours and have owned this car for 30 years. I decided 2 years ago to do a frame off resto on the Camaro. I was also trying to also improve the power. Sold the 383 stroker and 5 speed & went to a 427/6 speed(Richmond). Took the car down to the frame and then sent it out to be powdercoated. I wanted to this right but it took longer then I thought. I feel I have 100 hours just in fine tuning after it was completed.

Hi Minz nice to meet you and everyone. The spoiler is from a 69 Firebird. Year One sells them. I have incorporated a third brake light in it. You don't see it till I brake. It is the little things that took so much time. Dakota Digital gauges were also a great addition to this project.

Nice ride, my father has an almost identical one, minus the wheels and bad ass motor.

Boy, the old Camaros look so well proportioned and athletic. The new Camaro looks decent but it looks quite fat and with a chopped top look.
