I think this may be in the wrong thread, but I am getting an exhaust system in the next few weeks and I was wondering what is the best one for performance gains.

I can't spend more than $1000 because I have to pay to have it installed.
i was thinking maybe getting some shortie headers and a axle back muffler, but I think the gains would be better to get a full exhaust replacement.

I didn't even read your thread, I read the title and posted SOLO or ARK LOL I have had my solos on for 5 years now and I can honestly say I have never been bored of the note. And still get tons of compliments on the exhaust. Its an aggressive loud exhaust but you can actually control the volume by different techniques. Its truly amazing

don't go with stainless works

The only other exhaust that I actually love is ARK. It sounds amazing, perhaps even better than SOLO but I love my SOLOs and have heard plenty of V6s with different exhaust
