we already know....

THERE IS NO Z28 RIGHT NOW. THERE ARE NO GUARANTEES ON IF/WHEN ONE WILL BE MADE. DO WE WANT ONE? YES. WILL IT HAVE OVER 9000 HP AND GET 100 MPG? PROBABLY NOT, BUT I STILL WANT ONE. AND IM CONTENT TO WAIT FOR IT.
LOL, Ok, But I want a camaro with an LS9 engine and the carbon ceramic disk brakes from the ZR1. Also it should have carbon fiber everywhere to keep the wieght down (hood, roof etc..) and an all alluminum chasis. Call it the ZL-1, that would be freaking awesome. It would make the GT-500KR a complete embarisment. Oops forgot it already is.

I'd prefer to keep the cost down to ~$45000. The car you describe would come to about double that.

I like how you think, There is no way in hell i will be able to afford a ZL1 built by you any time soon, but at least i will be able to say that GM is making two of the baddest cars in the world.

That's still a lot for a Camaro, but considering the competition, I don't think that's out of place.

not really. it's nice to voice your opinion about hat you want - it got us blue SSs & polished wheels on the RS, but... let's just say 41 pages about wanting a car that they've said they ain't gonna make any time soon is a little much. how many times can you say LS7/LS9/LSA? that's why i never voted in the poll. i would love to have a new Z28, but it ain't happening for a little while, so we can let it go (for now). that's all

Yep, But heh if ford has the nerve to sell the GT-500kr for $80,000 dollars. I know Chevy can make a ZL-1 Camaro for $90,000, but the difference being that it would be a car worth buying for those who can afford it. Not to mention it would be an instant legend. As far as a Z28, I would like to see the LSA engine in the caddilac CTS-V, Magnetic shocks, strengthen IRS. I also would like to see the use of carbon fiber and alluminm to help keep the wieght down. It would be nice if we had a ZL-1 camaro which would be a cheaper ZR1, and a Z28 camaro which would be a cheaper CTS-V for $49,995. IS 50 grand a bit pricey, sure it is, but remeber with 3.73 gears availible in 2011 MY the camaro is already a 12 sec car IMO, That is alot of bang for the buck, thats my 2 cents.

Correction I would like to see the LS7 in a Camaro Z28, And Chevy focusing on looseing wieght where possible. AN LSA equiped camaro would wiegh well over 4,000lbs. But an LS7 equiped Camaro with more use of alliminum and carbon fiber would weigh maybe 3660 lbs with 505hp runing through 3.73 gears!! which makes for fanstastic cornering and straight line speed.

first, where did you get that the LSA has a 400 pound weight difference from the LS7? the LSA is also an aluminum motor, only difference being the supercharger, which surely doesn't weigh 400 pounds...second, i would think that two camaro's that were the same in weight, save the engine, one with a LSA and one with an LS7, the LSA wins every time...

***also, if i'm not mistaken, no more ls7 in production cars after this year, right??

Yes , I think you are correct the LS7 will be phased out , so the new Z28 will either have a LSA or more likely in my opinion a LS3 DI known as gen V, Direct Injection provides more efficiency and HP a LS3 DI could produce up to 500Hp and would be NA motor just like the orginal Z28
