Quality of Pre-painted Heritage Grille (GM Parts Direct) - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

Hello I just wanted info on whether the pre-painted heritage grilles from GM Parts Direct were of good quality or would it be better to order unpainted and then paint it at a body shop?

I've seen comments saying the paint quality is not that great.

Mine was just fine. Way it is packaged from gm, crushed during shipping would be more of a concern i think. I think gmpartsdirect will make sure it is made good, no matter, although potentially frustrating to wait. Was worth it to me, cause i think this is the grill that should be on the car from the factory.
