Now all those who cancelled your 2012 order and those who "thought about it"...are you kicking yourself now?

That's great, but does it seem a bit odd that they would have stopped producing the ZL1 for more than 3 weeks whenever all it took was a "minor change" to get things rolling again?

It'll be interesting to see if they say what the "minor change" was......hopefully it wasn't programming in more torque management to safeguard the drivetrain.

Wonder if they'll ever reveal what the hold up was about?

They should ship every one of them with complimentary Adams clay bar, detail spray and microfiber towels. You're going to need them

Officially? No.

This means positive info is on the way. They would not give a heads up that info is coming if they were not releasing the hold.

This is my thought as well. I don't see them giving us a heads up that more bad news will be delivered on Friday.

I think you misread it.
There were two topics in the memo.
One was the minor changed to the 2012 Camaro.
The second topic was not related to the first and was the comment that there would be an announcement the end of the week.

Hopefully it is a positive announcement and I fully expect it to be.
Get ready!

Thank you

They have to get these cars moving somewhere because there will be no room to park the cars that are to be built in the coming weeks.

Here's my guess for Friday's announcement. All ZL1's will be shipping with the exposed Carbon Fibre Hood Insert at no charge.

As long as mine still came with the black stripe I wouldn't mind.
