Haha I love this guy who brings someone's parents into the convo. The v6 is a great car it's much more fun when modded and I still can't use all it's power without making a scene. I have full bolt on and tune basically everything that's out. I drove an ss and it's not enough to excite me enough to change cars it's fast and sounds way better but not enough. The mustang gt is faster feeling but not enough either. The corvette was worth changing to much faster and more nimble. But then again the 800hp 911 turbo I was in was way faster than that... Get the point there will always be more and more just choose what you like and enjoy what you have unless your rich

It's entirely within the realm of possibilities to get a 1LS with a S/C and "very" few other mods, if any at all, to run high-to mid 12's for well under 30K, and that's starting with a new car.
As has been said, ad nauseum, it's all about what you want to do. I like sleeper cars. It's not about an in your face obvious thing to me. I have a feeling mine will continue to surprise, because you look at mine, and you have no idea what's going on under there. Even the IPF is very quiet when driven conservatively. So I'm told. Im going to install 3.91s in the spring. Honestly I dont think I would ever get the kick I want until I get 600rwhp. Since I dont have the budget for that, my 2012 GSXR 1000 gives me all the kick I can handle

I owned a V6 A6 for about a month. GREAT car plenty of pep and would make the perfect daily driver. The SS is more of a handful and feel less refined in some ways... raw if you will. Get it over 4K and the SS is just scary fast. |
