The suspension is a little more taut and has a slightly bouncier feel to it but has a tighter and more responsive feel in corners. Once i get my cam and SC for the SS it will sound and perform amazing. Can't wait.

So stock for stock from my experience the SS is much faster and had that kick your head back into the headrest that the LT didn't have.
My exhaust sounds nice too, but it's not an exhaust I just put flowmaster mufflers on it they're nice! I'm gonna keep these but I'll put an axleback on my super sport when I get it

Think about it. less than 1.5 second difference.

Again it's the torque that gives that kick. And to be honest it really isn't that impressive. Heavy car. My 02' T/A stock ran similar times and had way more kick when you hammered it.
That is also approx 15 car links faster !!!!!!

Cheaper than trading in for an SS !
Has this race ever happened between a SC V6 and a SS?

Haha I love this guy who brings someone's parents into the convo. The v6 is a great car it's much more fun when modded and I still can't use all it's power without making a scene. I have full bolt on and tune basically everything that's out. I drove an ss and it's not enough to excite me enough to change cars it's fast and sounds way better but not enough. The mustang gt is faster feeling but not enough either. The corvette was worth changing to much faster and more nimble. But then again the 800hp 911 turbo I was in was way faster than that... Get the point there will always be more and more just choose what you like and enjoy what you have unless your rich

It's entirely within the realm of possibilities to get a 1LS with a S/C and "very" few other mods, if any at all, to run high-to mid 12's for well under 30K, and that's starting with a new car.

As has been said, ad nauseum, it's all about what you want to do. I like sleeper cars. It's not about an in your face obvious thing to me. I have a feeling mine will continue to surprise, because you look at mine, and you have no idea what's going on under there. Even the IPF is very quiet when driven conservatively. So I'm told.

Keep in mind, there's also a big difference moving up to a Corvette or moving up to a Veyron. There's always someone faster, so keep that in mind when you're finding your place on the road.
I wouldnt say big difference but notible I guess. I had the chance to take a ZL454 out and I never noticed that much of a difference. I think if I got to do the bolt ons I want for the LS3 like I did with my V6, I wouldve been more impressed.

Im going to install 3.91s in the spring. Honestly I dont think I would ever get the kick I want until I get 600rwhp. Since I dont have the budget for that, my 2012 GSXR 1000 gives me all the kick I can handle

He taxied "his" plane, which he was able to get permission to fly to our central IL airshow as a static display, to the end of the runway, out of our sight. The next we saw of him, the plane was 50 off the deck with the gear folded up. As he came even with the flat bed trailer we were standing on, he pulled vertical. And out of sight. It was the loudest thing I have ever heard, service members were cheering and it made our Mom cry. He wrote home a few months later. No big deal to him.

The F-15. Never once beaten in air-to-air combat. So we built one better, the F-22.

Oh, and I drive a V-6. Ride with me sometime, heh heh.

I was stationed at Eglin's test wing and loved the F-15's doing their max climbs. They would be totaly out of sight in about 15 seconds and over five miles up in about 60!! But trust me on this, no fighter is louder than an f-4. That one rattles the fillings loose in your head.

I owned a V6 A6 for about a month. GREAT car plenty of pep and would make the perfect daily driver. The SS is more of a handful and feel less refined in some ways... raw if you will. Get it over 4K and the SS is just scary fast.
