Detaling help a brother out - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

Hey guys, so a while ago I was going to take my car to get professionally detailed, then with the help of the internet and youtube I decided to try doing it myself. Well now the section I tried doing is a hot mess full of haze marks and holograms, I have spent dozens of hours trying to fix it and just cant seem to get it right. If there is anyone in north jersey that knows what they are doing and is willing to help a brother out by showing him the ropes I would be happy to reimburse you with money, beer, pba cards, etc. I have a PC 7424xp, pads, meguires mirror glaze products etc.

By no means am i an expert but, have you tried washing it again with Dawn dish soap? Sounds like too much product to me. You may want to try posting this in the detailing section also.

Yeah been there, trust me I have tried everything. It has to be my technique, even though I feel like Im doing it right, once I shine that light on my paint its like

Take it to Detailers Doman they are in North Jersey. They are a sponsor on this sight and do excellent work.

I was originally going to take it to them, but figured I would give it a stab myself. Should have went with plan A lol

use adams products not the old school meguires stuff. if you need help just ask me i'll show you how to do it.
come by my shop Saturday if you want and i'll take a look at your car and see how bad it is. pm me if you want to stop by.

Was the car hot when you applied the product?
Were you in the sunlight?

Specifically, what steps did you take and what products did you use?
I used to detail cars professionally, PM me if you dont want to announce the whole procedure to the forum.

I'm in Bridgewater and I consider myself a pretty good detailer. (I do it on the side) i have the full Adams product lineup and I too use the PC. Shoot me a PM of you want to swing by
