Kooks street sleeper

Looking for good price on kooks street sleeper or other exhaust that won't drone. How does anyone with this system like it?
I put on a magnaflow 3" comp 16483 and it has alot of drone. The volume of it is fine with out the drone, how would this compare?

What RPM and road conditions are you driving when you get drone with the Magnaflow?

I've had mine for over 6k miles and I've never heard any drone.

BTW: I've heard the KOOKS 2.5" (which I think is the steet version you're talking about) is supposed to sound real good. I've never heard one in person though. If you do switch exhausts, I would be curious what you think about it.

We did exactly the same thing! Then I talked to Maryland Speed, glad I did. No drone and sounds Badass. You won't regret it.

Almost any thing under 1800rpm but 1500-1700 it is really bad IMO. Of course that is my highway cruising speed. If I shift down to 5th it gets WAY quieter.

Yup get compliments all the time on mine. It's not super quiet but it has a unique sound to it.

How loud is the kooks compared to the magnaflow? I actually like the sound of my stock catback, but it sounds like the mufflers won't last with my mods.

Did you do it yourself or have a shop do it? I just don't want spend another $300 trying to fix it? Does the J pipe change the sound outside?

Kooks long tube headers, high flow cats into stock exhaust. NO drone. Zero. Nada. I love this setup.

Thats what I had and like it to. But everone keeps saying the l99 mufflers can't take the flow and will start to rattle and fall apart. I really like how quiet it was on the highway and actually prefer the slightly higher pitch tone.

I have a Kooks Street Sleeper that I may be selling. About 2000 miles on it, but I was leaking oil and it has some staining. It would probably polish out. You interested? What would you offer?

I called MS and they had this set-up on their car... not as loud as most. I didn't want my Camaro to sound like my grama's buick!
