Grease and tar, etc

Does anyone have any suggestions as to a cleaner that is good for cleaning the lower edges around the car below the doors? It has black stuff, not a lot, but I know it's from the roads. Looks like grease and stuff.

Basically, is there a good grease and tar remover for my Camaro to clean it up?

Thanks for your suggestions.

WD-40 works great on grease and tar. I've used it for years. Mineral spirits works great too, if you have some around. There's no need to buy the expensive stuff.

Turtle Wax makes a great "tar and bug" remover - I keep a bottle in my trunk. Got it at Auto Zone.

Goo Gone or WD-40 is the cheapest and their clear coat safe. Just remember to wax the area afterwards as they also remove the wax.

Do not use gasoline on the paint. It will eat away your clear coat.
