ZL1 with 2' Kooks LT Headers
After a long wait, finally got them.. Love the sterling silver jet hot coating!!!! Still waiting on my cats though... Install was ok, a little pita... But my GF and I was able to knock these out in about 5 hours... I had to cut the belly pan.... Had to cut 1 bolt that stuck out of the side wall... ( little to long, got in the way of clearance ) had to buy new plug wires and some wire booties.... Had to trim down the one bolt that holds the 2 ground wires.... Bolt for dip stick was fine....

I've had a few hold ups... Cats being one... Also had to take the stock manifold to the dealer...1 of the damn o2 sensors was cross threaded from the factory... Luckily my local dealer did a warranty swap for me.... I was shocked to see this... The other 3 came right out.... |

Update - No video's yet, but will post tonight. The sound is amazing... At first start up, its a little loud but then calms down.. its a little louder than stock... at crusing speeds (50-190mph ) lol... 50-80 realistically...its actually quieter than the stock exhaust.. ( very surprised ) NO Drone At ALL!!!
Now here is the fun part..when you get on the accelarator... this system comes to life... very nice tone...not raspy like other systems....Sound is amazing!! |

Did you get a CEL for this setup? I have the kooks LT and green cats. Everyone is telling me I will need a tune for P015B and P015D. Any ideas?

I haven't posted any videos yet because it backfires a lot when revving it up... So I've been letting my car just sit in the garage till I can get it tuned tomorrow... |

The backfiring will not stop. I have not tuned mine yet because I don't want to void the warranty. I've driven mine about 200 miles. Enjoy it as it will sound 100000x better.
