I maybe backing out of the heads as they seem to be an expensive mod that doesn't really net enough gains for the expense. Still will do cams an get it dyno tuned again afterwards. Really wanted to stay naturally aspirated but a supercharger seems more of a hp producer plus don't have to spin it up as high to make the power. Guess I'm gonna have a lot of overtime time in my immediate future!

You can mill the heads to bump compression too. Just watch out. You're cutting into your PTV clearance for that cam down the road.

Not everyone wants to do the same thing to their vehicle that you "Recommend". If someone wants to spend their money on some heads, let them do it.

Put me on that list. Nitrous would be a complete waste of time and money for me and my car. I would rather have heads and a big compression bump. Nothing wrong with nitrous... Just some of us don't live at the track.

I would do a N/A 376 with H/C/I or a Forced induction setup before I put a bottle of nitrous on my car. Spraying nitrous is not my style, and never will be.

Well the car with the p.r.c heads:

469 baseline 491 after heads and tune. I was hoping for a little more but I am not disappointed. My car n/a is putting down more power than a stock ZL1, not much but a little.

What was done to the PRC 255's? Were they milled? How much were you expecting? 490-500 rwhp is what you honestly should expect from a Cammed /heads bolt on LS3.

Off the shelf 255 p.r.c. heads that were c.n.c ported. No milling, with my cam I do not have p/v clearance. I am running lg motorsports G6X3 cam. Was hoping for 500.

22 hp from heads and tune? Wow! I was expecting a lot more what does the area under the curve look like? Could post up your dyno sheet? Not knocking you but just interested in what it looks like? I like torque HP#'s are for bragging rights. I like a nice fat torque curve that starts early and maintains all the way through the RPM band. That's what pins you in your seat!

Its just a number on the dyno. Its more important to put to use on the track. Its still cool yes to say u have 500rwhp. Track use is more important anyday IMO!

Maybe an underdrive pulley would get you over your satisfied mark? Either that or go pay $100 and ride a happy dyno .
