ZL1 OEM Brake Pad Bedding?

I will be changing my pads this weekend, car is driven only on the track and some on the weekend. Per GM, proper bedding is ~20 stops from 30 mph. Should it be done differently for track driving?

I see a Racing/Track Brake Burnish Procedure section in the owner's manual (9-7)...

What are you using for pads? I would follow the instructions with the pads that you have.

Some require different procedures as to bedding and some do not require any at all.

For example, the Cobalt Friction track pads we sell require no bedding of the pad itself, but they do require a bed into the rotor if this is the first time you are using them. Once the pad is seated into the rotor, you can hot swap pads with no time wasted on bedding in a new set....just if you swap in a new set of fresh rotors.
